I DID TRY!

I did read some of the comments on the fate of the stray kitty but I was not the one to make any decision whether to let her in the house or not. The kitties did that all by themselves. I did try my best to accommodate all the kitties under one roof but somehow I was not able to control the situation. I just wish someone nearby would solve my dilemma and provide her with a comfortable home soonest possible. Maybe the following photos would clarify the matters further.

RANT! RANT! GO AWAY!

Rant! Rant! Go away! Come back with more love for me every single day! It has been raining over here almost nonstop for the past few days and the J Kitties had spent their time doing nothing except to sleep the whole day. Of course, there would be the time that they would wake up right on time for their food. After the meals, they would be back to their beds all cuddled up. It’s nice to see all of them sharing their warmth with the juniors. But I have a dilemma here. I can’t let the kitties out as the grounds out there were all wet and muddy. Neither could I let that little angel into the house as she would surely be torn up by the J Kitties and eventually become a nervous wreck. In the end, I have to let both parties stay put in their own world. To the J Kitties, it’s a heaven inside. To the little cutie out there, it’s just unfair for her to be out there all by herself.

CATS ON TUESDAY – KITOMATIC CLEANING MACHINES

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

The link above is where cat lovers all over the world gathered and share their updates on their pets on every Tuesday. Feel free to drop in if you are a cat lover.

At two months and 4 days old, the twins, Jimmy and Joey had decided to open up their own business. I was telling them that they were just too young to be involved in any businesses but they insisted on trying their services for the first few days before deciding whether to invest in it. They will need a “guinea pig” to try out their services and who could that be? Well, there’s only one “pig” which is the biggest and fattest in the J Family… Jeremy!

CLEANINGMACHINES

They have decided to register their business as “Kitomatic Cleaning Machines” once everyone in the household approved of their quality services. I have seen them working hard on achieving that dream of theirs. They are very professional indeed. Every dirty spots on the “client” would be cleaned without further questions. I’m not sure whether I would want to let them out into the business world. It’s a jungle out there as only the best would survive and be successful for a long term. What do you think? Should I let them go? Here’s a video on their determination and commitment to be the best!

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST?

The baby stray which appeared last week came back for some food and snuggles today. The first thing she saw me, she rubbed herself on my legs and gave me a soft loving bite. It was such a great experience to get that from her. After having her lunch twice (Gosh! What a big eater!), she wanted more attention and played with me before deciding to have a kitty nap on my safe little garden chair. She’s a real cutie! While playing with me, I noticed the sad little eyes of her telling me how bitter and cruel her life was. I just sat next to her for two hours looking at her tiny little body as she went on telling me about her life journey into this world…

P/S: Although I have my hands full with the caring of the J Kitties, I have no choice but to temporary shelter this cutie as she was running around a heavy trafficked area where there were continuous flow of trucks, vans, cars and motorbikes passing by. I just could not bear watching her life ends under the wheels of those vehicles.

By the way, today is also the day the J Kitties as well as Panther would like to honor all the great things Morgen (Mo) aka “Not The Mama” has done for all those in need throughout the Cat Blogosphere. We love you for all the loves, hope and personal touches you have given to everyone. Thank you Mo!

HEALTHY HABITS

I would love to instill good habits for my kids… errr… kittens all the time. One of the good habits would be keeping the body clean. That I have no problem as all of them were born with that instinct to be clean and well groom. Another good habit would be keeping the teeth white and sparkling. I have to do it all the time and having 8 kitties at home was never an easy task.

CLEANTEETH01

I often have this wild dream that they would do it on their own. Can they? Will they? Well, no matter what, it’s good to start them from young… LOL!

PHOTO HUNTERS – WRINKLED

photohunters

This week’s theme is on WRINKLED.
I have always told my friends that
life should be filled with smiles and laughter,
as the more you worry and frown,
the more WRINKLED areas you have.
That’s exactly what I told Jeremy as
he looked worried and frown all the time…

THE WEATHER IS SO COLD AND WET

It has been raining continuously for the past few days and the whole place was drenched. My kitchen roof was leaking but no workers would want to work on a rainy day. So you can imagine that I have pails all over the floor collecting rain water. I hope they can expedite the repairs so that I can keep my kitchen dry all the time. One thing I realized. The J Kitties does not mind the tick tock sound of the droplets from the roof. In fact, they enjoyed playing with the water. Don’t you think it’s rather weird? All these while, I thought cats hate water.

FUNDAY04

Anyway, Joey and Jimmy seemed to enjoy playing with the water. The rest rather hibernate since the weather is so cool and nice, except one – Jeremy, my most mischievous brat! After playing for hours, the three of them finally decide to sleep too. Joey jumped back to where Jayson was resting and decided to give him some warmth. Jayson is recovering well now after his medication. According to the vet, he caught a mild flu. Phew! I thought I had another emergency at home.

FUNDAY02

As for the other two, Jeremy and Jimmy, they are like honey. They are always together, even when they are sleeping. You don’t have to guess, this is definitely what both of them are dreaming of now… Mummy’s milk! :P

JAYSON IS SICK AGAIN!

JAYSONSICK

I had my hands tied up again today. This boy of mine is so prone to sickness. A bit change in the weather and he’s down with sickness. Anything that he had consumed today, even water, he would just vomit out all over the place. It’s very messy in my house now and I have to have a pail of disinfection lotion to clean up wherever he went. This is just another of those tiring days for me here. I hope I’m fast enough to clean up before he infected the rest of the kitties. The reason behind his illness – He stubbornly rushed out of the house and played under a heavy down pour. He must have caught the chill then. Hummph!!

CATS ON TUESDAY – WHAT? AGAIN? ANOTHER?

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

The link above is where cat lovers all over the world gathered and share their updates on their pets on every Tuesday. Feel free to drop in if you are a cat lover.

ANOTHER01

I was just mentioning about THE FREE FOOD SIGNS on my wall yesterday and barely two hours ago, another stray kitten came knocking at my door asking for food and water. Gosh! Am I really destined to be the food provider for the strays?

ANOTHER02

The question is “Where did all these strays come from?” I have never seen some of them before in the neighborhood. Well, I have a soft heart even to the faintest purrs of a kitten in need. Of course, I did feed the kitten until her stomach was filled. But… sometimes I wondered if they were a bit too demanding. Why? Read on…

ANOTHER03

ANOTHER04

ANOTHER05

What should I answer? I can’t say no as they would go hungry. I can’t say yes too as there would be endless visits each week to burn a deeper hole in my cat food budget. I will just leave it to my destiny that more kind souls within my neighborhood will have more loves towards those strays…

THE FREE FOOD SIGNS

After some thinking, I realized that something might not be right with wherever I am staying now. Of all the 12 houses along my street, why must I be the only one that has been getting countless of strays coming around for food and water? This is getting to be weird as I am getting around one to two new strays popping in each week. It really puzzled me. Did some of the strays really put up some markings as some of you had mentioned earlier or did I move into a house where it has been a cat’s sanctuary for centuries? Even Mama Jessica was not happy with me at the rate I have been paying more attention to the strays then her J Family Kitties. Is there really some signs? I am not sure myself.

THESIGN01

I spent some time during the weekend checking through all the possible signs around my garden to see if there were really some signs indicating that my house was the FREE FOOD CENTER in the neighborhood.

First, I checked my garden sofa which was badly scratched by my kitties as well as some of the strays which used to frequent my house. I do not think I see any signs there, do you?

THESIGN02

I then checked my garden gate. There were some scratches on the metal gate but I do not think that has anything to do the strays leaving some marks.

THESIGN03

Since my house is the last house at a no-through road, I decided to check on the wall. There some scratches but it was done about 5 feet above the ground. Do you think these could be the signs?

THESIGN04

Finally, I checked on the rough part of the wall which has been there for tens of years. I noticed that there were some designs from the wear and tear of the weather through the years.

THESIGN05

After studying the so called designs for some time, my hair stood up. I saw something mysterious that gave me the creep of my life. Am I imagining things or is that the signs I was looking for all these time? Those signs were right under my nose and I had never even taken a serious look at them after staying here for five years.

THESIGN06

What do you think of the signs? Am I getting a bit wild in my imagination or I am fated to be THE FOOD PROVIDER for the strays for as long as I am staying here. I won’t know for sure. What do you think?
