On and off we have weird creatures and injects coming into the house or around the surrounding areas. Have I told you before that I found a 7” tail near my bedroom upstairs before? I am still wondering on who is the owner of the lizard tail. I have yet to find any victim around the house until today. It looked like a gecko’s tail but this species is extremely rare in my urban housing estate.
Well, the kitties had another new discovery but I am relieved that their curiosity this time did not end them up in trouble. Here is the retake of what actually happened on that day.
Sorry Karl, we could not get you that big lizard for your Lizard BBQ on the 15th April 2008. We will try something smaller next time. :P

Yep, you guys shuldn't take on anything too big.
SS was wandering in a deserted town a few years ago and came across a goanna (Australian lizard) who was sunning itself across the bridge and took up the whole width of it. Must have been nearly 2m long. She ran.
Whoa, is that a komodo dragon or gila monster er somewhat like that?? We don't gets lizards here, we don't think they likes snow. However, you guys be careful when you are out and about!

A 7" tail? I just had a shudder, OMG I don't want to find anything like that.
Hi Momo, Mindy & Moe,
That's a 1 meter baby monitor lizard. An adult can grow up to 2 meter long or more. It does not bite but has long sharp claws. Their habitat is in the dark bushes, river and by the sea. Since I'm staying near the beach area, once a blue moon I can see it lazing under the hot sun.
Hi Deana,
I'm still wondering what it is. Due to the gross sight, I swept it into the drain without taking a shot of it. What an idiot I was :P By the way, it looked like it got chopped off with a clean cut. That's what lizards have when they dropped their tail right? Anyone knows what it is then?
Yikes!!! I am glad lizards in my garden are only small - less than 3 inches generally. OK, I am NOT a brave kitty. Certainly not as brave as Jeremy.
Aaaahhhhh! That lizard is too BIG! Be very careful, because lizards can be very sneaky.
We see many lizards with missing tails; it's a very good defense they have, especially since the detached tail keeps moving around for some time.
shame..I bet bbq's lizard is quite the treat! We don't get lizards in the UK although i live in hope.
The kittens are soooo cute!
that lizzzzard looks soooo yummmmy
