THE RATTY MYSTERY

The past few days, I was down with severe migraine problem which caused me to feel nausea and also sleep a lot. A little bright light from the computer screen itself will make me dizzy and sick. Luckily, I have a good friend around to help me handle the J Kitties’ basic needs or else they would have been starved to death. Thank goodness! Things were quite normal for those few days with the twins playing nonstop and the rest lazing about for the whole day.

It was not until I opened up the front door just to get my mail from the postman. Suddenly, I heard a scratching sound coming from the garden sofa and went to inspect it. I saw one tiny skinny baby rat scratching at one corner of the sofa trying to hide itself. It was weak and scared.

FREEME01

Don’t tell me one of kitties preyed on it the night before? I was sleeping most of the time to have the opportunity to monitor who came in and who went out the previous night. It could not have been Mama Jessica as the twins were always attached to her. Who else could be the attacker? I was checking through each of the kitties but they gave me all sort of innocent answers…

I am puzzle with what had happened. It still remained a mystery. Since I was still quite immobile, I managed to get my friend to free that pathetic sick looking rat in one of the far away garden. I hope I did the right thing but let’s hope it will not return to my garden again. Hmmm… any one has any verdict on this mystery?

What an appropriate theme for my two 34 days old twins,
Jimmy and Joey, who love to HANG on to
anything that they could get their paws on.
Let me share with you where they have been
HANGING about for the last one week.

MY KITTENS DEMOLISHED MY HOUSE!

DEMOLISH01

It was one of those days when there were just too many chores in hand to complete and yet you still see continuous mess around the house. Well, kids! As they grow older, they tend to run, jump, climb, tear, bite and worst still wet wherever they can lay their paws on. It is a blessing that they are born so cute to get away from all the necessary spanking. :P Anyway, I got so tired of clearing up their so-called messing area that I practically left that corner of the house for them to demolish. You should have seen what they did to the plasters on my wall. Gosh! They are such a good demolishing team… or should I say twins. :P

I really needed the rest from clearing up but this just won’t stop. They are just a month old. I can’t imagine what would happen within the next few weeks when they get larger. Just a short video here to show you how determine they were in demolishing my house… haha :P

GROWING UP – A BLESSING OR A TABOO?

It has been barely 7 months and just looked at how big the boys have grown up to be. A few months back, you can still see three of four of them sharing the same bed but now Jeremy hardly can fit into the bed if Jayson were to be in it. Gosh! Can’t they just find a bigger place to sleep rather than to fight over the bed?

JIMMYRANT05

Anyway, that’s Jeremy’s bed but somehow the rest of the brats love to sleep on his bed, not forgetting Jimmy aka Tarzan Boy, Joey aka Jane Girl and Mama Jessica. The bed ended up as if it were to be a public place for everyone. Luckily Janice does not have any problem with her sleeping place. It has always been my lap and she will always pin me down for hours. (Sweat~) At one month old, Jimmy is the smartest so far to try his cheeky ways to get Jeremy out from his bed so that he could claim it for himself. Just look at photos on how he did it.

CATS ON TUESDAY – FULL MOON BIRTHDAY

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144
The link above is where cat lovers all over the world gathered and share their updates on their pets on every Tuesday. Feel free to drop in if you are a cat lover.

TWINSFULLMOON01

The days flew by real fast and today it is already ONE FULL MONTH for the twins Jimmy and Joey. You can imagine what those two one month old babies can do to the house now? Well, one thing I have in my mind is to change their names to Tarzan and Jane as both of them had never stopped running, climbing and swinging for the last 2 days. The “litter” problem had started all over again in the house and those two were only taking in milk at the moment. I could not imagine what else would be new when they start taking in kitten food. I can complain much too as both of them have grown up to be extremely cute… haha! Anyway, just to share with you some of their birthday shots today.

TWINSFULLMOON02

TWINSFULLMOON03

Actually I do not mind the twins playing with the boys but sometimes they will play until too extreme. This is what happened when you have someone 10 times your size playing with you. It gets too rough!! But… the twins enjoyed themselves a lot!

BABY HEALING POWER

It has been quite a hectic week with lots of sickness, injuries, worries, anxieties, death within the cat blogosphere. I guessed we will all need some smiles to cheer up ourselves. Let me have the twins’ healing powers make all those bad things go away for good.

This is a special post for Debra who is recovering rather slowly and needed a dose of kitty healing power, Crystal who has her mind all stressed out with Moki’s treatments, and not forgetting ML who has a heavy schedule trying to sort things out for the benefits of more pets in need. Ladies… you all need a break!!

PHOTO HUNTERS – WHAT IS THAT?

photohunters

This week’s theme is on WHAT IS THAT?
With the J family Kitties around and their wild imaginations,
you would be certain that there would be endless flow
of “WHAT IS THAT?” questions around the house.
Due to an unexpected accident last night,
I’m doing more pictorial this week as my eye
is still painful for staring too long on the screen.

ONE EYED DADDY

ONEEYED01

I was away for an appointment 150 miles away from home yesterday. Leaving the home at 5.00am and coming back 10 hours later was very tiring. I just could not leave the kitties at home alone too long without anybody supervising their ever chaotic behaviors. When I was back, I was so dead tired that I had slumbered onto my bed with the twins accompanying me to sleep.

It seemed fine to have them on my bed since they are still were barely a month old and they looked innocent too. I was wrong as things turned up to be the other way around. Those two were devils in disguise, especially Joey the hyperactive one. Before I knew it, someone clawed right into my eyeball. It has to be Joey as Jimmy was quite far away from where it happened.

ONEEYED02

My left eye was still in pain and I have to bear with it until now. My appointment with my eye doctor an hour ago proved that I was lucky to miss the eye ball by 2mm. Now I have to be careful where those two “wild” kitties go as I do not want them near any “sensitive” areas anymore. Can you imagine me typing all these words with only one eye? Things looked rather blur here too. Well, I guessed this is part of the experience growing up with kitties of all ages.

FELINE SEARCH PARTY

HUNTJAYSON01

I get really stressed up when one of my kitties decided to pull a stunt as this. Playing missing for days is not something that I like at all. First it was Papa Jonathan, then Mama Jessica and now it’s Jayson’s turn. I am just waiting to see who else will be next. I wished my kitties would understand well that it’s a dangerous place out there with stray dogs, mafia cats, inhumane people and ever flowing of vehicles out there. It’s just not safe for them to linger out wildly without any supervision.

HUNTJAYSON02

I took the whole day off just to check out all the possible places Jayson might have gone but without any success. In the end, I have to seek the help of the rest of the bunch to hold a search party. At least they have the sensitive hearing to hear the cries of Jayson if he were to be anywhere nearby. Luckily with their cuteness and cheekiness, I was able to cheer myself up a bit.

Of all the stunts, Jayson has to pull this. He managed to jump out of my windows upstairs without me knowing and landed himself into my neighbor’s house. The worst thing to happen to him was that they were not in for days and he was locked inside their house for days without food and water. Errr… hopefully he did not steal my neighbor’s food.

Luckily, Justin was able to detect the SOS cries of Jayson and led me to their front door. I did hear Jayson’s cries in there. He sounded real panic. The front metal door was locked but fortunately they forgot to lock their wooden door inside. I managed to push a bit and there it was Jayson looking at me with his pathetic look. It took me two hours just to persuade him to jump over the metal door and fed him with food and water. I hope he has learned his lesson well not to break out and intrude other people’s property. Now I have something else to worry about… Where has he been doing his “business” in there? I hope I won’t get into trouble for that!
