A GUIDING LIGHT

CANDLE

The night was cold, wet and long,
With stuffy nose and hoarse throat.
Trying very hard to sleep but not for long,
As the mind was filled with many wildest thoughts.
Walking here and there wondering what I could do,
Ended up praying hard for a brighter tomorrow.

Hope is all I had in my mind now,
By lighting a candle on this windless night.
Hoping that this flame of brightness,
Would be your guiding light.
Hoping that it would give you some warmth,
To ensure that you will be alright.

Oh Mama my beloved Mama,
Please come home soon.
How could you leave your babies,
Without saying a word?
They are crying every night,
In hope of your Motherly Love.

A month ago one of our cats came up missing. It was normal for him to go away for a few days, but after being gone a week we started to worry. After a week and half, we had given up hope as he had never been gone so long. Our mom cried for three days as she wondered what had happened to him. Then one sunny afternoon, two weeks after he had gone missing, he just showed up (smelly and a bit skinny). We can only guess that he had gotten closed in a garage or barn.

Our point to keep your hope and know that we are ALL thinking of you and praying for Jessica's safe return.

Love,
Opus, Roscoe and their human

We stopped back again, hoping for good news. Don't give up hope, though.
