SOMEONE HAS BEEN STALKING MY CAT FOOD!

The prices of food and fuel had increased tremendously for quite some time now and with that increase the cost of cat food had also shot up a lot. I used to buy packets of 1.5kg cat food for my babies previously but now it would be even cheaper if I were to get them a 10kg bag. At least I can save up around 40% of the cost if I were to buy them in small packages. Moreover, the J Kitties have grown up a lot and the two little twins were already munching cat food.

My 10kg cat food finally arrived yesterday. It was huge. While waiting for a friend of mine to loan me his sealing machine to pack the cat food into smaller plastic bag, I left the big bag in my living room. Thinking that it would be safe there, I went for a short nap. When I woke up, I was shocked as someone has been stalking my big bag of cat food. Who could it be? Every single one of the kitties gave me that angelic look on the face.

STALKER01
The packing was so thick and sealed so tightly and yet someone did bite some parts off. The stalker would have gotten into the content if I were to wake up half an hour later. Maybe the triplets, Janice, Jayson and Justin did since their Papa Jonathan has proven record that he could bite through steel wires but I was not sure. Could you believe that the stalker did this?

Although the twins did fight over the ownership of the big pack of cat food, I did not think that they could have pulled a stunt like that. They were still small, cute and angelic… at times. LOL!

STALKER04

While investigating the scene, I saw a familiar figure creeping from behind the cat food. Don’t you think this look familiar?

STALKER05

He even has the cheek to do it once again right in front of my eyes. Don’t you think this look familiar too?

STALKER06

I wanted to catch hold of him and gave him a spanking but he gave me that guilty but pathetic look in his eyes again. Jeremy… oh Jeremy… Why can’t you be as obedient as the others? This time, I forgave him as I understood that all the kitties are growing up fast and they will need more food.

A big bag of crunchies is just too much to resist. Mum buys us the bigger bags and keeps it in an airtight container. We can't get at them in there:(

Jan is still laughing! She says she has had on more than one occasion over the years a hole chewed in the bottom of a 10 or 20 pound bag where it wasn't visible. So when she would pick it up, cat food (or dog food chewed open by a cat) the kibble would fly everywhere. So she doesn't have much sympathy for you on this one. :)

Jan buys cat food in the large bags too. And dog food in 34 - 40 lb bags. So she has them way off the floor. Only at one time Percy led Cameron on cat & dog food raids, up on the bookcase on the back porch, over the bathroom door, and a leap across to the top of the containers the bags sat on.

Jan didn't catch on until she caught Percy sitting on the container, tossing kibble to Buddy. Now the bags are covered.

Yeah, that's why mom hadda get a big plastic pet food bin to keep ours in. Sadie has learned how to lift da lid so Speedy can flip food out, now she keeps a heavy book on da lid so Sadie cant lift it anymore. We unnerstand being hungry, we haf three food bowls and if one has space at da bottom we panic.

Ah it´s the same like here in Germany, everything get´s more expensive.

I´m sure our cat´s can´t resist the bag too, hehe !

You can put the food into a big plastic bucket with a cover. The cats can´t open this.

Daddies have to learn.....you can't leave a child alone with chocolate cake and you can't leave kitties alone with a bag of fishy goodness!!=^Y^=the Cat Street Boyz

heh heh Shadow does that to our foods too. Mom has to put it in a plastic bucket before Shadow sniffs it out and claws it open!
