PHOTO HUNTERS – UTENSILS

photohunters

This week’s theme is UTENSILS.
Having many kitchen UTENSILS around can be useful
if you are a good cook with enough of knowledge
to detect what’s right and wrong.
If I were to be a beginner,
Jimmy would have had the worst nightmare of his life…

THERE ARE STILL SO MANY THINGS TO LEARN ABOUT THE J KITTIES

“After so many years and I still could not understand what he, she, errr… it wanted!” That’s exactly what I have been stating all the time, not about the beans but on the furry little J cuties in my house. When they were in their “teens”, there’s lots of love and sharing amongst themselves. As they grew older, it’s more like “This is mine. You get lost!” There used to be a few bowls of food and clean water hanging around the house for their consumption. Now it’s like 9 each of food bowls, water, easing pits and bedding for each individual but only one bean to do all the clearing up daily. Sweat~!! Who said bringing up “kits” would be easy? But that was what I had committed since day one I had decided to keep them as a family. Now I’m wondering if I should get those combo platters that I have seen online to ease my picking and cleaning up time.

JKITS04

Food for them has never been a problem as I had quite a few great suppliers around to give them varieties, including their all time favorite - KFC. LOL! Well, minus the skin, fat and hardy bones. Of course that would be once every few months or else they would be obese. Err… My 3 angels, Jessica, Janice and Joey are sort of clumsy now and somehow Jimmy can sense when would be the next treat. :P

JKITS01

One problem I still faced today would be the litter problem. Nine litter boxes in the house might not be enough for the 9 J Kitties. I would need another litter box for the house as advised by some of the solution providers I had asked around. I’m sure my neighbor would have heard me screaming almost daily, “Who peed on my mat, dining table or floor again?!!” Haha! Well, the mysterious culprit has been acting real smart. I had not figured out who it was. Neither could I get a direct answer from any of them.

JKITS02

Then who could it be? Can someone please give me some feedback?

Sweat~~!!!!

PHOTO HUNTERS – ROCK(S)

photohunters

This week’s theme is ROCK(S).
Living on an island with many surrounding little islands,
there would surely be lots of ROCKS along the beach front.
Mother Nature has her way to provide some source
of livelihood to those living by these beaches.
Even the sharp looking barnacles on the ROCKS
have some shares in this privilege.

ROCKS01

Every early morning, you would also see some of
our friends hunting by these ROCKS.
I simply love how they move... hehe.

ROCKS02

Living on the island can be real tough at times
when there are no sign of any food by the ROCKS.
I guessed when there’s the “means”…
errr… and so many ladies to care for…
there’s always a way…

I COULD BE SUCH A CAT MAGNET

I’m sure that some of you might realize that I have been rather busy and been travelling quite often out the state just to grab whatever job available just to make ends meet. The kitties indeed needed more for their diet since all of them are way past their adulthood. During most of the trips, I would meet up with many new friends, four legged and furry mostly. :P Somehow, I think I have the cat features in me (Is it?? Hmm… LOL!) that seemed to attract those animals to come straight to me, even without me calling them most of the time. The latest being about 55km away from my home state in a remote country side where population was rather low without much entertainment of course.

TAIPINGCAT01

Most of the time, it would be just a stray or two coming forward to seek food but this occasion ought to get more attention as not only did this little cutie came climbing all over me asking for some attention, she brought the whole family along to beg for food. I just could not believe my eyes with the action of the 8 month old stray kitten. She climbed up my shoe with the pathetic look asking for food surrounded by her old daddy, partially blind mummy and a 2-month old baby brother. This is something I do not get to experience often. Who could resist such a cutie’s request?

TAIPINGCAT02

Although I was the talk of the town that evening due to my spontaneous action in feeding the poor strays, I just went ahead to do what an animal lover would do – feed them. The chef indeed was a bit pissed off with my action (as what most chefs would be if they knew I was to do that with their food. :P) but eventually he just gave me a faint smile without cursing any further. That’s what humans should be… having a bit of compassion towards the needy animals sure won’t hurt a bit.

MY WAGGING FRIEND

Whenever I see the photo of 3 month’s old little Patch, I could vividly remember how active he was at such a tender age. He was quite a jumper and would greet me whenever I was there at his bean’s shop. He can be quite a licker too at the way he gave me all those little wet smooches on just any place he could get his tongue on. One thing I could not stand was the frequent chaining on his neck whenever his beans were running their open door business. Being a pedigree as well as a hyperactive pup, letting lose such a cute dog would surely pose more danger of being stolen or knocked down by a car.

DAYCARE01

How I wished they have such great doggy daycare facilities where my cousins lived in Sydney where Patch could at least get the best of life in a lease-free environment attended by qualified veterinary nurses, groomers and animal behaviourists. That sure would be heaven for the little playful Patch. I could imagine him running all over the specially created playground meting up with new friend of all breeds and sizes.

DAYCARE02

Gosh! They even do have a place one can call home. How Lovely!

DAYCARE03

A rocking chair with pups of the same age would be real fun too.

DAYCARE04

Even their staff can be real fun to be with and love playing “peekaboo”.

DAYCARE05

What about the best of sun bathing after a nice dip into the doggy pool under the watchful eyes of the “slave beans”? LOL!

DAYCARE06

For those who love to have a wagging tail as a buddy, there are even cavoodle puppies for sale here in the Sydney doggy daycare centre provided your kitties agreed with them. :P

PHOTO HUNTERS – GARBAGE

photohunters

This week’s theme is GARBAGE.
I wondered who taught my cats to talk
GARBAGE all these while.
Whenever there were chaotic incidents in the house,
there tend to be a lot of excuses and innocent looks.
I always gave have to withdraw my anger whenever
I see those great big pairs of pathetic eyes…
not forgetting their expression…

PHOTO HUNTERS – PINK

photohunters

This week’s theme is PINK.
When you mention about PINK,
there’s always something in this household
that would get every kitties excited.
It’s the PINK bowl that I’ll use to mix their food.
For the last 3 months,
I have been using this PINK bowl on a PINK plate
to mix two types of cat food (with a PINK spoon of course) for them.
They seemed to love this combination of chicken and tuna biscuits
more than the sole chicken biscuits pack
I had been feeding them for more than a year.
I guess I would also be bored with the same food each day too… LOL!
Anyway, candid shots can be taken almost nearing meal time
each day surrounding this PINK bowl…
It caught me laughing with these shots.
Joey could be real cute and hilarious at times…
