PHOTO HUNTERS – METAL

photohunters

This week’s theme is on METAL.
Jimmy is on a food craze after the
Thanksgiving dinner we had yesterday.
I’m beginning to get worried now
if he’s planning to stay on that
METAL plate until Christmas…

I think TN Chick overlooked the repetition

We had one on 22 March 2008.

THANKSGIVING – WOULD YOU TRUST YOR CAT TO BRING FOOD OVER?

Sassy had invited the J Family Kitties to an informal Thanksgiving Dinner and look what happened to the Turkey Pot Pie I had asked Jeremy to bring over? Gosh! That boy sure has a great appetite when it comes to delicious food. No wonder he is beginning to look like Garfield. Sweat~ I feel so shy for his bad behavior now. I guessed you guys won’t mind a missing piece from Turkey Pot Pie? Hehe... Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends out there…

AWARENESS PROGRAM - THANKSGIVING

With Thanksgiving coming up this week, followed by Christmas then New Year, there would be lots of gatherings, parties not forgetting lots of ongoing drinking events happening before the end of the year. All the J Kitties love parties, especially Jeremy. But! Jeremy has an advice for everyone, “There’s a limit to everything. Do not go too far beyond your limitation. It is better safe than never…” Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends throughout the globe!

SOME THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

Taking some time off from the blogging world can sometimes be quite relaxing after so much of pressures I had when I had to ensure the health of all the J Family Kitties. Although I could not get far away from home as the kitties still needed me to be around, a stroll down a little sanctuary was so refreshing. The fresh air in the natural habitat, the chipping of birds, the movements of all the little critters within the environment was so inspirational.

I had never felt so content in life; being aware of the little blessings I had, knowing so many great and kindhearted people around the globe. But would that be enough? No, I do not think so. I’m still greedy… greedy to get more people to shower some of their love towards those little blessings that the world had ignored. I would love to see this become a reality and together we should make it happen. Have some thoughts about this…

CATS ON TUESDAY – I SENSED

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144
The link above is where cat lovers all over the world gathered and share their updates on their pets on every Tuesday. Feel free to drop in if you are a cat lover.

Although I’m still feeling easily exhausted now after more than a month of taking care of my sick babies; I still did not forgo my duty to get as many strays healthy and well fed. Recently, I revisited Panther look-alike which I had paid my friend to get him all sewn up a few weeks ago and his gang of friends in the nearby park. To my surprise, all of them had grown up so fast. Someone must have fed them well during my absence. Thank goodness! The first moment I stepped into the park, I saw a glow in the nearby bushes giving me that beautiful smile and with an angelic face. He has grown up to be cuter than I had expected.

ISENSED01

Barely knowing these strays for a few weeks, they tend to avoid me. But immediately when I brought out the chunks of KFC I had reserved for them, you can practically hear the endless sound of purring in the ears. Gosh! They sure have a great sense of scent.

ISENSED02

Knowing that Blackie (the brutally abused stray which I had saved earlier) should not be taking the fatty KFC, I managed to get 3 fresh fish from an angler by the beach. He was purring and running all around me when he smelled the presence of fresh fish. He was lucky to have found me and his “bloody exposed skull wound” had miraculously healed up rather fast. In a month or two, those badly scarred areas would have been fully healed and he would have been back to normal. At the moment when he was happily chomping and chewing the fishes, I felt so contented with life. Aren’t Blackie so lucky? Let’s hope there won’t such cruelty in the future as I just could not bear watching all those poor creatures suffer in the name of inhumanity anymore.

PHOTO HUNTERS – RUIN(ED)

photohunters

This week’s theme is on RUIN(ED).
Having some pets at home can be fun but situations might
get quite chaotic when you have 9 cats under one roof,
especially when you have a colonial house with walls
that would always be with dampness and easily
get RUINED just like mine over here…
Gosh… and I can’t charge the culprits for
the repair of that RUINCRY~

I SURVIVED THE ORDEAL!

ISURVIVED

Most of you are not aware that I have been extremely sick until Daddy had no mood or energy to write anything. I have been making Daddy very worried as I could not eat nor drink anything since last Saturday night. I have been panting for breath every second of the day and every time I tried to lie down to sleep, I was forced to stand up as I could not breathe at all. Standing up and taking a nap was not fun at all.

I knew that my family members were all hard hit by sickness during the last one month I was away at the vet but I did not expect myself to fall victim too. I was the last one and I hope it would stay that way. It had been hard and tiring for Daddy to spend all his time looking after me. Other than my medication time, he had to syringe feed me every few hours with liquid diet and energy drink to boost up my immune system and stopping me from being dehydrated. Even the thick meaty and yummy broth that Daddy has been cooking and feeding me daily did make me feel better. At least I did not go hungry although I did lose some weight now. Could you believe that this was me just few days back?

If not for his love and sacrifice for me to get well, I won’t be here jumping and pounding on the keyboard now. I’m FREE! I’m the QUEEN again! Now who should I get as my slaves? I would spare Daddy for the time being as he will need to get some good rest. I won’t be sure about that in a weeks’ time. Hahahahaha…

AN ORDEAL NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN

I’m glad to be home now. It had been a harsh month in my life. I thought it would be the last day for me to see the light on earth. Pain became fear and fear came depress... I lost HOPE! Day by day, I slipped further away from the hope to live on. But, miracle came knocking at the door at the right moment. Little spark by spark of love and support rejuvenated my hope to stay on. I should not have ended my journey that way but to be strong in believing that there would always be LOVE and HOPE surrounding me. I’m not alone all these while… but being surrounded by friends who cares about me and my family… Thus, I can never give up on HOPE! Well, I almost did…

Without your existence,
I would no longer be around today.
Without your love and encouragement,
I won’t have the courage to look up on HOPE.
Without your support and compassion,
I don’t think I could have pulled through.
Deep inside dwelled a silent whisper
Wanting to shout out… THANK YOU!

HOMECOMING QUEEN

HOMECOMING01

My sweet girl, Janice is finally home this morning after being “held captive” against her will for A MONTH. With all the health issues in the J Family, I didn’t even realize that time did pass by so fast. I have been very busy trying to settle some of the existing vet’s issues that I was totally knocked out towards the end of each day for the last few days. Luckily everyone were in the best of health now… well almost… with only Janice left to be treated for her mild ear wound from the last attack. Thank goodness! The health issues were finally over. Thanks to everyone who had chipped in to help out during these stressful moments. Gosh! It has been indeed an extremely tiring period for me.

The babies were very excited to have their sister back. The first moment Janice was brought into the house, Joey was the first to wish and snuggle with her sister. She really missed sleeping on her sister’s tummy all these weeks.

HOMECOMING02

Jimmy came up next and cuddled Janice as never before and gave her sister some licks to clean her up. It was such a touching moment seeing him doing that. It was like “Sis… I miss you. Can you please come and play with me now?”

HOMECOMING03

There’s one very obvious change on Janice that made me worried now. She has grown so fat with all the nutrients and vitamins she had at the vet that she had turned into a couch potato. Gosh! Have I got to serve her like a queen now? OMG! It looked like I’m going to be her slave for a long time to come. I hated that “Daddy, please do this and that and this and that” look in her eyes. But what can I say? She has been my jewel and most pampered cat in the family… Oops… favoritism! Haha!

HOMECOMING04

Today was indeed my happiest moment to get her home. It’s great to have everyone here back to being healthy, happy, playful and joyful moods again. Well, I did get a great present from Janice too. She really missed playing with me for so long in our own sanctuary that she forgot about being as lady like as she has always been. Who’s to complain to see her in such a cheerful mood now? I won’t…

HOMECOMING05

Note: To all those who had sent their well wishes as well as helping out during this period, I would like to say a big “THANK YOU!” Without you, the J Family Kitties would not have survived these ordeals. I would indeed repay whatever within my means at the present moment to help more kitties in need in the near future.

PHOTO HUNTERS – BLUE

photohunters

This week’s theme is on BLUE.
This was one of the most memorable times I had with the
birth of the two BLUE eyed twins, Jimmy and Joey.

BLUE01

Time really passed by real fast with both of them being
4 months old now and not having those BLUE eyes as before.

BLUE02

In fact, the one that is feeling rather BLUE is Justin.
He has yet to recover from his lack of appetite issue.
