ONE EYED DADDY

I was away for an appointment 150 miles away from home yesterday. Leaving the home at 5.00am and coming back 10 hours later was very tiring. I just could not leave the kitties at home alone too long without anybody supervising their ever chaotic behaviors. When I was back, I was so dead tired that I had slumbered onto my bed with the twins accompanying me to sleep.

It seemed fine to have them on my bed since they are still were barely a month old and they looked innocent too. I was wrong as things turned up to be the other way around. Those two were devils in disguise, especially Joey the hyperactive one. Before I knew it, someone clawed right into my eyeball. It has to be Joey as Jimmy was quite far away from where it happened.

My left eye was still in pain and I have to bear with it until now. My appointment with my eye doctor an hour ago proved that I was lucky to miss the eye ball by 2mm. Now I have to be careful where those two “wild” kitties go as I do not want them near any “sensitive” areas anymore. Can you imagine me typing all these words with only one eye? Things looked rather blur here too. Well, I guessed this is part of the experience growing up with kitties of all ages.

MORE BAD LUCK FOR A STRAY

The stray kitten that had made a surprise visit earlier and also secretly broke into my house has had even worst luck on his side recently. I thought he had ran away when I chased him out of the house but he still come back regularly to seek food and clean water from me. I guessed I might be the only one around the neighborhood who has the heart to feed a stray, on top of the crazy amount of food the J Family members are consuming now. Somehow Jessica does not like me to feed another kitten who is not from the J Family. Isn’t it obvious from her action as below?

But the stray was very persistent in getting what he wanted - some food and clean water and refused to move away despite Jessica’s constant hissing and claw warning. I feel so bad if I did not feed the poor kitten. His pathetic eyes made my heart grew soft.

Initially, I will see him purring in a distance for asking for food. As the days passed by, he came closer and closer to the house having the confidence all over again that I meant no harm to him. I always see a black spot on his left cheek and thought that it could be some tar stains since he likes to hide under the many cars parked along my house. Subsequently, I got rather suspicious when the black stain remained there for many days as a cat will somehow clean himself up wonderfully. Only then did I look closely at the shocking scar he had on his left cheek when he moved into the corridor of my house. By the look on his face, I can feel that he was crying in pain.

I waited patiently for him to hastily finish his food to have a closer look on that injury. It was terrible. One whole piece of his lip has torn open, exposing some of his teeth. I got up to see if I can get nearer to him to check on the injury but he ran away in fear. I wonder who or what could be so cruel as to make him have that scar for the whole life.

I just hope he will be fine now and that injury of his would not be worm infested and eat up his whole face. Even if it is beyond my means to help him out, I could at least seek help if he is willing to let me help him. Instead, he has disappeared for two days without trace. Let’s hope everything goes well for him now. All I can do now is to pray for his safety and that he will be able to live a longer life.

THE PRESENTS JONATHAN GOT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY?

If you had remembered earlier, I have mentioned that Jonathan received lots of presents before he came back for his One Year Old Birthday Party. Well, I did get for him and Jessica a present each but I did not expect him to get more from outsiders. What do you think of the presents I got for them? Cute? Those were made out from our local batik designed cloths. They are small and bitable. Let me introduce them to you.

Now come to the interesting presents Jonathan got from the neighborhood, especially from that fat ugly ginger king with a long scar on his face. I better warn you kitties first that the following photos are rated PG (Parental Guidance needed) as they might not be too pleasant for the eyes of babies. Here are his presents:

PRESENT #1: NOSE & TOE MASK
It does take out some hair and skins on the nose and toes.

PRESENT #2: BACK TATTOO
This is a painful experience. It will leave some scars around. Mostly for life!

PRESENT #3: TOES REFLEXOLOGY
Mud and dirt could be good for foot relaxation treatment. Sometimes it will have some side effects if cheap or maybe free treatments were taken. Worst come to worst, you might just need to amputate a leg off!

PRESENT #4: BUTT RECONSTRUCTION
I was wondering if there is a need for the reconstruction process. I still prefer the ones I was born with and there is no point in enlarging further. God created us to be contented with what we have - being natural.

Don’t you just love the presents he had received? Now that he has received such “NICE” presents from his so called “FRIENDS”, he decided to stay put in the house for some time. Unfortunately, Jessica does not want welcome him back yet. He has not been loyal to her and he is not worth her time anymore. Even his kits are taking him as a recluse. So, what has happened to the Casanova of the J Family? Well, he is back to his old habit of begging for some love and affection from me, following me and rubbing himself against my feet whenever he sees me, pleading me to accept him all over again.

Looking at his pretentious ways, I have only one thing in my mind now and wanting to shout out. “Cut that out Jonathan! I am not falling for your false act ever again! Just look at the medical bill you have accumulated and how are you going to account for that? Go sleep at one corner until you have gained back my trust!”
