IT’S TWINS!! The J Family eventually increased to EIGHT! EIGHT is enough as many advised and I’m agreeable to that. The females ought to get fixed real soon or my household members are going to be turned into a football team. Haha! Well, welcome to the world my beloved twins. Your life is surely going to be a prosperous one under my love and care. Let’s welcome Jimmy and Joey!

CATSOPHERE#13 – SILENCE IN THE CAT BLOGOSPHERE

Time is precious and so is life. Every seconds and minutes in your journey of life will somehow bring in many sweet and bitter moments. Let them stay as memories and move on to be in the present. Living in the past would not help at all, neither will predicting what will happen in the future. If you feel like looking deep into your whole life, why not use the eyes of love to see how much love there is amongst the people surrounding you. If you have the eyes of love, which everyone does, you will eventually see love wherever you go. Spread your hands now to send some warm hugs and love to the person next to you. It may just brighten up the day of the person without you realizing it. This is my life philosophy and I hope that one day everyone in here would no longer be short of love.

Speaking of time, it moved real fast. Before I knew it, I had already come out with 12 issues of the CATSOPHERE magazine since its launch in March 2008. It started off as a cover magazine for the six J Family members. Eventually, it had spread wide across the whole world with new cover models. Just see the recap of the cover magazines and see if you know who they are. :)

As for this week’s CATSOPHERE magazine, it’s going to Egypt where Ana resides together with her two lovely brats, Chica and Pumuckl. This week’s main cover model is Chica. Let her show you how fun it is to use Search Engine Optimization (SEO). What do you think she will search on? What else except on cats. She’s one by the way if you can’t decide whether her photo on the cover belongs to a cat or a bean. LOL!!

CATSOPHER#13

On the other hand, China Cat and Willow had their eyes stuck to the window panes for hours. You do not have to call 911 as there were no super strong adhesives on the windows. What could be so interesting that they will sit there for hours? Jump in and find out more.

ZSS?? What the … is that? Is that the name of a new terrorist organization? It has been known that they have been terrorizing the house until they have gone FLAT. Haha! Who are they then? It’s simply our lovable gang members Zippy, Sadie and Speedy. Speaking about FLAT, there’s something new in there that caught their attentions to terrorize next. Let’s see what’s their next mission is.

The Cat Blogosphere was rather quiet the last weekend with the lost of two of our cat members Storm and Kali. I guessed everyone was still mourning for the losses. Do try to pop in to give some moral support to the families if you have not done so.

You can imagine how happy the family members of Eric and Flynn were in after receiving the breaking news. Everyone was concern about Eric ever since he did not do his usual “poop”ing business for two weeks. Drop in and congratulate Eric on his “best performance”. Haha!

Finally, with so much support from those kind hearted cats, kittens and beans in the whole cat blogosphere, Moki managed to meet his treatment cost target. Now he has the much awaited chance to do his MRI and CSF Tap scheduled on July 15th at UC Davis. All the best Moki! By the way, he will be having a party to celebrate this coming Saturday, 21st June 2008. Do not forget to drop in then… errr… anyone need any red marker pens to circle the date on the calendar? I have a few here. :P

CATSOPHERE#12 – GIVING FROM THE HEART

CATSOPHERE#12

This week’s CATSOPHERE magazine studied in depth into the lives of certain cats and kittens in the cat blogosphere and how well they are getting on. It will also give alternatives to how you could help those cats in need of a better life, a better health and a great family.

The cover model of this week is none other than Alexi, a Russian blue cat living in the United States of America. The Krasota Castle housed Alexi and Annie, with a few relatives and of course their two human slaves. Something new has been going on in the castle. Soft noises could be heard coming from the castle. What are these noises? Jump in and kill your curiosities.

Scylla proved to us that you do not need a special place or position to groom yourself well. It can be done anytime, anywhere, anyhow. Drop in the blog to see what Scylla did.

Now the Camies Kitties are getting a little bit suspicious on what their Mom has been doing. They have been giving a small dosage of woofie scents regularly. What? Their Mom will be bringing in a woofie to stay with them soon? Check them out now!

Miles and Sammy have been winning lots of prizes. Check them out on how they have been enjoying all their prizes from various competitions in the cat blogosphere. Who knows? Maybe they will share with you some winning tips.

Bonnie Underfoot has left us last month in an unexpected attack. Find out the test results in Victor Tabbycat’s blog and check on how he has been getting on without his best buddy.

Finally, an insight sharing on how two best friends ML and Debra managed to share the same dream and passion to set up Furriends of the Cat Blogosphere to help more pets in need. There will be an auction every week for you to bid on and the bid amount would be generated directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries. Both of them are so compassionate. Not only did they put in their full efforts in making sure that there are items up for auction, not mentioning shooting, editing and posting up the items in the blog, they are also volunteering in packing and sending those items within US for free. If you feel like contributing some items to them, please drop in the FOTCB site and get their emails to enquire further.

To ML and Debra:
Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push.
Putting a smile onto the face of others
Providing a word of optimism, encouragement and hope
Giving generously through actions and not words
Striving to make the best beyond expectations
With these compassionate actions of yours
May more compassionate blessings come to you two in many ways

CATSOPHERE#11 – HOUSE OF PANTHERS

CATSOPHERE#11

I was not able to come out with the CATSOPHERE magazine for last week as I was not in town to review some of the interesting blogs around the blogosphere. It seemed many things happened during my absence and most cats were busy preparing for Karl & Ruis’s Wedding in space.

As for this week, Panther has appeared on the front cover proving that when you have faith and trust in someone, miracles can happen. Panther had a hard life having two major accidents in his life and he proved to us that nothing’s impossible to stop him from staying alive. He has gone back home to the mechanic’s place living his life as before. Both of us are in the midst of setting up safety measures to stop him from facing more danger in his life.

Do you know that sometimes it takes more than a dozen of roses to court a girl, even on her birthday? That’s what Pepi did. Pepi had to add in more things in the gift package to impress her. Fish is surely a must :P Drop by to see what Pepi has been up to? :P

Have you ever wonder what will be the best way to replace old furniture when you are bored with them? Riley will show you how it is done properly with his experience with wood. Catch up with his advice. :P

There is a new super heroine in town. She can climb up anywhere effortlessly that way too high for a bean to reach. She is none other than Luna, the Supercat. Jump right over to catch her in the act now :)

Mickey got a shock when he saw a pair of earrings lying on the table. All that was in his thought was that his Mom would be taking him for ear piercing soon. Is that what the story is about? Why not check up with him to find out the story behind the earrings.

Now comes the best part of the magazine this week – The Wedding of the Century between Karl and Ruis. The reception was a success with both the couple exchanging their vows in space. The wedding was also a grand one with so many animals from all over the universe attended. Wow! Just look at their marriage certificate being signed personally by Star Fleet Command Captain, Cpt. Kathryn Janeway herself. Check out what they will be doing honeymooning in Ruis’s hometown Netherlands until 12 June 2008.

CATSOPHERE#10 – SUCCESSFUL CCSI PRODUCTION

CATSOPHERE#10

I hope this issue will be posted up as my internet line is still having some problems. I hope to get my new ISP up by the end of this week or so. It has been a hectic week for many out there as there were planning for my birthday, the launch of CCSI III – The Missing Mummy Caper and Mothers’ Day. I had a tiring weekend too, considering that I have to cook dinner for 8 persons at my parent’s place to celebrate Mothers’ Day, not forgetting to my 6 other brats at my the own home. Hey, don’t be surprised. I can cook too! :P I’m not going to share the yummy photos here since most of you have promised to stay on diet after the party, right? Hehe…Well, the food was not so special after all, they were just Japanese Fried Teriyaki Udon (noodles) with big prawns, shitake mushrooms and lots of vegetables, Shrimp Paste Fried Chicken Thigh, Grilled Pork Ribs in Tomato Wine Sauce, Stuffed Dough Stick with Salad Cream, and desserts such as Honeyed Sea Coconut with Lemon and of course a Homemade Apple Cheese Cake. :P Gosh… I see some of you drooling here... haha :P

Anyway, this week’s cover model is Momo, the Marketing Executive for CCSI III. After weeks of working hard to market the production as well as corresponding with all the casts and crews of CCSI, she has decided to seek some tokens of appreciation for a work well done from her bean slave, SS. Check out the blog for more details.

Pearl, Bert and Jake, the PBJ Cats had problems trying to convince their parents to let them out of the house since an intruder came knocking into their area. Is the intruder a cat eater? Why would she be there in the first place? Jump in to find out more on what happened.

How would Meezers celebrate Mothers’ Day? Check out the latest happenings in Sabrina, Sam and Simon’s blog, the St. Louis Meezers to see what they were doing then.

What would happen if two cheeky cats, Chica and Pumuckl, were stranded in Egypt with the Pharaoh, Sphinx and two funny parents? You will end up having a funny family with endless of joy and laughs doing the Egyptian dance. ***playing “Walk Like An Egyptian”*** :P

Sassy and the Executives of Little Productions, had successfully released the latest CCSI series titled The Missing Mummy Caper. The show was a huge success with the involvement of many kitties, woofies and a wabbit throughout the blogosphere. If you have not seen the show yet, please do not miss the opportunity and jump into the blog right now. The show comes in Part I and Part II.

EXCELLENCE AWARD

As the script writer of CCSI III – The Missing Mummy Caper, I would like to present this Excellence award to each and every one of the production team members, crews and casts of CCSI III for a job well done. Please feel free to grab the award from here and proudly display it in your website or blog. Well done everyone for such a great performance.

Do keep an eye on the future CCSI productions. Who knows, you may be turned into a star over night. Have a great week ahead! :)

CATSOPHERE#09 – ANYTHING INTERESTING?

CATSOPHERE#09

Well, we have to apologize for not visiting more as our internet line was so bad during these few days that we could hardly log into any sites especially Blogger. We really felt like punching the computer but then we would not have a computer left to use. I really felt sorry for my present Internet Service Provider (ISP) as we are in the process of changing to another one that is more stable and with fewer disruptions. 15 months of being patient is enough. You can check out my long complaint here.

Anyway, this week’s cover model is Moe, the sweet orange cat from Team Tabby. He will show you what it takes to be a mancat. Firstly, you need to groom yourself well from ears to paws. You need to show your beans you are the man of the house. Secondly, you need to have a sense of time. You should know when it is time to eat and try to get the beans up before the alarm clock. Isn’t breakfast the most important meal of the day? Thirdly, you should know the places the beans hide all the yummy food in the house. Well, I guessed Mindy is fortunate to have a mancat in to bring her food whenever she is hungry.

Wow… Miss Peach sure knows how to visit lots and lots of places in Hawaii. There were even two cute calico ladies welcoming her there. Can you imagine there is an island called CATalina Island? She could not resist taking lots of photos with the beautiful island dancers and cute, handsome yet macho dancers. She even visited the once dormant volcano where she felt the real lava. She even had yummy tasting Mai Tai Nipteenie in the island resort. Want to find out more about her wonderful trip, drop by to read on more updates.

Camies Kitties did a great job with their Knock Knock Fundraiser in aid of Mu Shue, Lilly Lu and Iris. Of course, you need a brainy head such as Daisy’s to come out with this idea. :P For every Knock Knock joke a participant post in their blog, they will donate $0.50. Keep a look out on the updates on how much they will be donating soon.

How nice it is to be together to celebrate anniversaries of others but it would be even greater if it is our own. Well today is the one year anniversary of Cheysuli and Latte. Isn’t it nice to celebrate it in Disney World and head out to some private island after that? I wondered if they are going to do something naughty over there. Haha :P Next to watch out would be Karl and Ruis’s wedding end of this month.

Check out on how the Crew of the Hijinx went over to visit Samantha & Tigger. Can you imagine so many of them on board a tiny boat and yet it can still float? :P Well, they had lots of food and entertainment. I wondered if they are going to fly over or take a cruise to Daddy’s surprise party this Thursday. We just could not wait to receive them with open arms.

Speaking of the surprise party, the guest list is still open as we have barely 3 days more to prepare for the party. If you have yet to confirm your attendance, please do add your name in the list below. Thank you and looking forward to seeing you all here. Have a great week ahead!

CATSOPHERE#08 – A QUIET WEEK IN THE CATSOPHERE

CATSOPHERE#08

There has not been much updates recently in the CATSOPHERE. Well, it could be due to me taking things slowly due to my frightful 10 days sickness. I would like to apologize if I did not visit your blog for some time but I will assure you that I will give my sincere comment when I am at your place. Secondly, I have a feeling that Blogger has not been in top performance for some time as I find that there are still problems uploading photos or to ensure that all photos are appearing in the blog. It is also weird that quite a few dot com or even Blogger users are not able to view the Blogger blogs. Let’s hope everything would be fine soon.

This week, the cover model is Lego, the sweet little addition to the family of Michico & Adan. Lego has been under quarantine for a few weeks. Before he could even come out to play with his new brother, Adan, he was hit by some fungal infections. There goes his freedom but he is doing real well now with the medication he has been taking. He would be free soon to join Adan in yet another new adventure. Wait! Now what? Otodectes cynotis? Gosh… what a fate for that poor baby. By the time he is certified healthy with no more problems, he would be half as big as Adan. Let’s pray that Lego will have a better fate soon.

It has been known that all beans will require a minimum of 10 hours sleep a day in order to stay beautiful, strong, healthy and alert at all times. Well, cats do need the same hours too. In fact, without the needed hours of rest, they would not be alert enough to hunt for crawlers, climbers and flyers that are planning to invade the house. Jake wanted to have his beautiful sleep but then he was disturbed frequently by the buzzing sound of house cleaning. I guessed he had not learned the skillful ways to defuse the plug of any electronic gadgets in the house without being detected yet. Try harder next time Jake :P

What is fluffy, furry and has a pair of pinkish ears and shining eyes? Gave up? It is a sign of health and it comes with the correct diet… take lots of vegetables, especially carrots! Diva Kitty’s Mum (DKM) has been healthy all these while because of her strict diet of a combination of greens. The same goes for Fiona the bun. I am wondering if Sophia ever finishes her share of greens as I can find quite a lot of green peas hidden under the carpet. Hmm… are those the bun’s spares or the kitty’s hiding spot? Haha.. :P Anyway, do check out DKM’s spring rolls. They do look very yummy.

Did you know that the CCSI Production (Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigation) will be launching another wonderful production this coming May? It would be titled The Missing Mummy Caper written by yours truly :P It would be yet another great production with the amount of responses the production team had received for the audition. Let’s see what the production team of Karl, Ruis, Opus and Roscoe, Sassy, Momo and Asta, have up in store for us. Do not ever miss out this coming show.

It is healthy to go out for some fun and stay wild for a day or two but sometimes the after effect of the party will cause some hallucinations and wild dreams. This actually happened when a group of close friends gathered at Sassy’s place for her Slumber Party. I guessed too much snacks, soft drinks, and pizza made her dream of the unexpected. Luckily no one really ended up in jail with their photos taken. You have to drop in to read more on this hilarious dream.

CATSOPHERE#07 – NEW MANCAT

CATSOPHERE#07

The cover model of this issue is Pierro, the newest mancat in the CATSOPHERE. He is also the newest little brother of our lovable Princess. Pierro is just a 6 months old kitten who is getting on real well with Princess. Initially, there were two kittens brought into the family to accompany Princess but Primus was too hyperactive for the family to accept him. Pierro is going to grow up as a great mancat as he behaved just like Caesar who went over the rainbow bridge not long ago. Well, I do miss Caesar. Do you?

Have you heard about why many countries are thinking about boycotting the Beijing Olympics Games 2008? There are just too many reasons the world leaders have voiced out ranging from human rights, animal rights up to pollution. The way the Chinese are handling the stray cats are too cruel. Do read out more about the issues.

What would you do if your humans are too busy to take care of their baby? As part of the family, you should lay a hand to help out the family chores. That’s what Chen and Ollie did in keeping their eyes on their new baby when the humans are busy with other duties. Check out what the little helpers did over at their site.

Did you know that the CCSI Production (Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigation) had come out with two beautiful productions not long ago? It began as a fun scheme for some kitties namely Karl from Texas, Ruis from the Netherlands, Opus and Roscoe from Italy, Sassy from rural mid west USA (who came up with the idea originally) and Momo from Australia. Sometimes a dog, Asta, from New York City also helped out with the photoshopping. What made the production a success is that it involved many cats and canine around the blogosphere. You should check out the storylines. They are wonderfully written.

Spring is already here for many countries, thus providing the nice beautiful ray from the sun. Some of you may spend your time sunbathing by the beach or on the yummy green grass. What about those of you who are staying in high rise area? Let Parker and gang show you how you can still sunbathe in the city.

The featured photo this week is on Karl from The Cat Realm. The blog will be celebrating its blogoversary this 15 April 2008. There will be a lizard BBQ and music all night long. Bring in more lizards or other nice food in case you think you might not have enough to eat as the crowd there is going to be real packed. Drop in now to check on the program lineups.

CATSOPHERE#06 – SPRING IS BACK

 CATMAG06

The cover model of this issue is Janice, the oldest of the triplets. You can see how healthy and energetic she is today after having fever during the last few days. She will be 3 months’ old in a few days’ time. She will tell you more on what happened during the last few days when she was sick. “Well, we have a few accidents and sickness here in the J Family. Who asked the boys to be so playful until they sprained their paws? Mama Jess on the other hand vomited but she’s fine now. Jeremy is a bad boy. He still doesn’t know how to pee and poo at the right place and he stinks!!” “Hey! Cut that out Janice! You are not supposed to tell others how bad your adopted brother is…hummph~~!!”

Okay, now back to this week’s review. If you would like to know more on other cats and kittens’ in the CATSOPHERE, do check out Karen Jo’s site. She will write a brief on those cats and kittens accompanied by a limerick. She sure knows how to rhyme her kitty limerick perfectly.

Spring is officially back and most of the beans will have spouts and buds, birds and fishes showing up gradually. Some are still experiencing some snow but it would not be long before the snow will melt and greeneries spawn all over the gardens. Happy rolling on the grass then! :)

Almost everyone in the CATSOPHERE was very concerned over the health of Miral who was down with some heart problems. Fortunately, she is a fighter. She battled the illness positively and is now taking in some food to maintain her strength. Although she is still weak, her spirit of staying strong has never stopped. Go send Miral some purrs and purrayers to show that you care for her to stay strong.

Are you into scrapbook? Check out Leslie’s site and see for yourself how well he did his cats’ collections in a beautifully scrapbook style. Who said top cats can’t rule in one of the beans’ hobbies? In fact, he did even better than most of the beans out there.

The featured photo this week is on our famous Egyptian duo, Dragonheart and Merlin. They will show you how warm and comfortable it is to be in their own sleeping bags. In fact, they prefer to share the warmth in one sleeping bag. They sure look cute, cuddling each other in the bag.

CATSOPHERE#05 – EASTER EASTER

CATMAG05

The cover model of this issue is Jessica, the mother of the triplets, Janice, Jayson and Justin. She has the experiences of raising 4 kittens including one adopted one, Jeremy. She said, “It’s not easy to raise these kits which have never stopped showing their mischievousness throughout the day.” Teaching kittens to be obedient is as easy as ABC if you know how. Firstly, you will need to be firm in your rules. Secondly, you will need to have a loud and stern voice. Thirdly, smack them, hiss at them if they still do not listen to you. Fourthly, if all fail, get your human slave to throw them out of the house… hehe :P

If your have yet to subscribe to your daily mewspaper, drop in www.felinedirect.com to sign up now. They have just launched their mewspaper on Good Friday. You can read about why Lilies are Pretty but Not Good to Eat!

One of our good boy buddy Smudge has gone over the rainbow bridge on Good Friday after fighting for his life for some time. He was having quite a few complications, unstable body temperature and blood count and was not able to eat well for that few weeks. Hop in to give his Mummy and Daddy a warm hug of comfort.

Have you met Siegfried and Roy? They can celebrate many festive seasons. They can dress up beautifully. They are forever bold and strong. Who are they? Are they cute and huggable? Check them out at Parker’s new home.

What have your cats and kittens been doing? Are they good or bad kitties? If they are bad, send them to www.whatagoodcat.com/blog and learn from the experienced Kelly, Lizzie, Caitie and Nicky on how to be a good cat to please your human.

What happened during Easter Day when you have a surprise visitor in your home? Are you going to invite her in? Check out Gandalf & Grayson’s home to see how beautiful the visitor is and how they spent their Easter Day.Publish Post

CATSOPHERE#04 – AROUND THE BLOGOSPHERE

 CATMAG04

The cover model of this issue is Justin, the youngest of my triplets. He dreamt of becoming the next lion king in the CATSOPHERE, replacing Simba of course… Haha! Well, at the rate he is prowling and pouncing onto the rest of the J Family, I ought to think that it would not take him that long to become one… :)

Here is one nice site that all cat lovers would want to have. Check out WOZOG – the Cat Idol Site! You can send in a photo or photos of your cat(s) WITH YOUR THUMB showing somewhere in the picture. They have a small contest and you can win cash money. There will be one contest every month and if you send your picture you will be automatically entered in EVERY single tournament/contests. There is nothing to lose. Submit your photo(s) now.

Training your human to listen to you is rather easy. Just make sure they know when to feed you, give you some warm milk, stroke you and even clean up your litter tray. If you cannot get them to do these basic tasks, it means that they have to go for more training. If all that fail, kick them out of the house! Haha!

There are so many nice beddings to suit your sleeping comfort. Which one would you want? Would you go for a hammock or a tent? Spooker prefers Forty Paws' Hammock whereas many kitties out there went for Ikea’s Cat Tent. Check out why Spooker loves the hammock so much.

We have Clinton and Obama fighting out for the US President position in the election. Why not Cheysuli? Being a Siamese, Chey would definitely have the votes from many. Check out why you should vote for Chey instead. :P

Many of you have celebrated St. Patrick’s Day last week but how many of you can get your eyes to glow and hypnotize your human to pamper you more? Check out how Cubby managed to grow up to be such a nice chubby looking cat… :)

CATSOPHERE – WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK

 CATMAG03

There are some new highlights this week around the CATSOPHERE. In case you are not aware that there is a cat community who share their cat news every Tuesday, you should sign up with CATS ON TUESDAY. This project is the brainchild of Gattina who owns two lovely cats, Arthur and Rosie. Just click on the logo below and you will be a step closer to becoming a member.

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

Summer is already here for certain countries and you will be seeing lots of new blooms and wildlife coming back into the place. Do check out Gandalf & Grayson’s site where they are enjoying the nice view of geese coming back into the swamp area. The loud honking geese are cute to look at but would you wet your paws to give them a warm welcome?

It has been known that becoming a model is rather tough. Can you imagine the amount of time spent in grooming and involving in hours of photo shooting? Hop over to Adan * Michico to read more on how Adan became a model for the day. Will he become the next star in the CATSOPHERE? Check it out yourself!

Human are hard to please most of the time. What would you do to please them? Do you need to look cute all the time or you just need to get them into stitches on and off? Well, Janice managed to get me laughing at how she sleeps last few days. I do not know how she managed to creep into that facial steamer container placed so high up at my toiletries rack and slept in it for hours. She is definitely cute in my eyes. What about you?

Photobucket

Having a place with lots of animals can be fascinating but how would you get your cats and dogs to become friends? Deana managed to get her woofies to make friend with her other furry balls. Check out how those friends spend their time together. They even went fishing together… I wondered if they caught any fish yet... hehe :P

Why nobody ever published cat-boy fashion? Drop in to give your support. Who knows? Someone might get the idea for the huge demand. (Hey! I have 4 boy-cats too! :P) Hehehe…

The life Caesar and Princess have touched the hearts of many people in the CATSOPHERE. How is Princess doing now ever since Caesar went to the rainbow bridge? CATSOPHERE – A NEW GOSSIP MAGAZINE?

I was browsing through all my photos in my cats archive and found Jonathan’s photos in abundance. Suddenly it struck my mind to come out with a cover design to bring back the 2007 STAR of my blog. Since the birth of the triplets and the latest adoption of Jeremy, Jonathan has been practically left out of CattyWood (cats’ version of HollyWood :P) highlights. You will be seeing more of this as I would also be promoting a few sites with interesting cat stories in the future. So, make sure you come back here often to grab the latest happenings in the CATSOSPHERE!
